Hawke's Bay Earthquake Act 1931 [Full Act]

Earthquake defined

In this Act, except where a contrary intention appears, [earthquake] or Hawke's Bay earthquake means the earthquake which occurred in New Zealand on the morning of the third day of February, nineteen hundred and thirty-one, and includes all earthquakes which occurred in New Zealand during the month of February, nineteen hundred and thirty-one, and also includes all fires arising out of such earthquakes.
